Service and Repairs
Warranty & Non-Warranty Repair
Please note that ship to addresses have changed. Do not ship amplifiers without contacting us first.
PLEASE READ BEFORE SHIPPING FOR REPAIR:
For warranty repairs, download the fillable .PDF repair form and fill it out as completely as possible. Include amplifier serial number.
Email the completed form to us along with proof of purchase if under warranty (receipt) and we will respond with an RMA number and instructions on where to send. We are using contracted repair centers. Do not ship the amp to us or anywhere else unless instructed to do so. If you send an amp without contacting us first it could be refused or you may have to pay shipping again to the correct repair facility. The goal is to get the product repaired and back to you as soon as possible.
Pack the amp securely, preferably in the original shipping carton. Enclose the completed repair form, proof of purchase (if under warranty) with RMA number inside the box. Write the RMA number conspicuously in more than one place on the outside of the box.
If original boxes are not available please make sure to double box the amplifier with plenty of padding around both the amp and interior box. We recommend against using styrofoam packing peanuts for packing around the amplifier; they allow equipment to migrate around the inside of the box increasing the probability of damage. Styrofoam also breaks down and really makes a mess around and inside of the amplfier
For warranty repair we only work with factory authorized repair centers. For factory authorized service and warranty repairs all products need to be sent to the factory authorized repair facility after receiving an RMA. Sending to a non authorized repair center will void the warranty. For warranty repair repair you must obtain an RMA from us BEFORE sending the product in.
As stated in the warranty policy, customer pays for shipping to and from repair facility.
Factory Authorized Repair Centers
For North America we currently have one Service Center. We are planning on a second one in Mid 2024
Please do not send in warranty repairs without contacting us (Expert Amps USA) first and obtaining and RMA.

HELP ON CAT ERROR PROBLEMS:
IF after trying the information below, CAT ERROR still will not go away, then turn the amplifier OFF using the RED rear switch. Wait about 2 minutes, then turn amplifier back on. This should help.
IMPORTANT:
If the latest firmware ending with a “V3” is installed on your amplifier it has some added helpful features. If you see a CAT ERROR warning on the display try the below directions.
Receiving a CAT ERROR warning really just means this:
1. The CAT cable may be disconnected for that INPUT.
However, the ERROR message should go away shortly.
2. The transceiver for that INPUT may not be turned ON.
3. The CAT cable has been damaged.
4. The CAT selection for transceiver for that INPUT may be incorrect. CAT selection & transceiver must match. (Some exceptions may be when using Kenwood and some Yaesu protocols for some other transceivers.)
5. Wrong baud rate setting. The transceiver and amplifier baud rates must match. One may have changed. Note: Pushing DISPLAY button may remove the ERROR. However, the “Operate” mode may not work until the error is resolved.
6. After changes are made, you may find that TURNING OFF the amplifier, and after ON LED goes off, turning it back ON may help remove the CAT ERROR.
